Rose and her fiancé Theo (David Wayman) escape the city for a weekend away to the idyllic Scottish Highlands. Theo sees it as a last chance to have some romantic alone time with Rose before she gives birth to their first child.  The couple’s peace disintegrates as Rose is confronted with chilling memories of her secret past.  The weekend descends into a living nightmare as Rose is forced to confront her demons

Carina was born in Edinburgh and raised in Glasgow.  Her family are Scottish with some Spanish on her mother’s side.

She moved to London to train in a BA in Acting at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Carina played the role of Lee in BBC Three series Lip Series, and has featured in BBC paranormal drama series “Sea of Souls” alongside Dawn Steele and Ian Robertson.

She recently played opposite Julian Glover and Omid Djalili in the short film ‘Mr Invisible’ Further recent film credits include the French tourist, Alice, in forthcoming comedy feature ‘Mr Jones’; and the glamorous Annabel in the British romantic drama feature film ‘Project One’ by Reel People Films.

She was extremely excited to spend last Summer in the Scottish Highlands filming as the gritty lead role of Rose in the forthcoming British psychological thriller ‘Wandering Rose’ from Green13 Films, to be released early 2015.

She is attached to play the female lead, Flora MacDonald, in Scottish historical feature film ‘The Young Pretender’ about Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Carina played in Paul Nicholas’ play ‘Keeler’ in the West End, as Lady P and as cover for Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice Davies

One of her greatest loves is sport and Carina has raced competitively as a long distance and cross-country runner, as well as swimming for Scotland.  She is a keen triathlete and yoga practitioner, as well as an accomplished Chocolatier.  Other interests include travel, Horse-Riding, hiking, dancing and singing.

London-born actress, voiceover and host, Serena Lorien’s acting career started at an early age when she booked her first UK commercial at the tender age of 6.

It was also from this tender age that Serena was attending the prestigious British Arts Academy Italia Conti. This world-renowned academy was attended by many of the UK’s stars like Russell Brand, Kelly Brook and Naomi Campbell and US stars Julianne and Derek Huff.. 

In the UK Serena enjoyed roles on many prime time Television fan favorites like the top rating soap BBC’s ‘Eastenders’, the long running ‘Grange Hill’, ITV’s Police Drama ‘The Bill’, ‘Family Affairs’ & ‘Manchild’.

Her latest work includes ‘House of Manson’, a bio pic based on Charles Manson and his former ‘family members’, ‘Garbage’ with Daryl Hannah and William Baldwin, ‘A Date with Oscar’ with CSI and Numbers star, Alimi Ballard, ‘A Voice in the Dark’ with Richard Portnow, ‘Poe’ with Greg Travis and Sal Landi, an Indian-shot drama feature, Dreamz, she assistant script-wrote and starred in, ‘The Green Fairy’ with Linda Blair and the feature documentary ‘Inferno By Dante’ with Eric Roberts and Isaac C. Singleton.

Serena’s next project finds her playing a lead role in the Fantasy/ Action trilogy, ‘Welcome to Purgatory’ opposite Peter Stormare (Constantine, 22 Jump Street), Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, Evil Dead) and James Buckley (The Inbetweeners) which will shoot in Pinewood Studios, England. The film is being produced by Scott Spiegel and British Production Company, Cupsogue Pictures.

Serena’s voice can also be heard all over the world through her voiceover work most notably in Agatha Christie’s ‘Evil Under The Sun’ playing Gladys Narracott, the hotel maid for the Nintendo Wii and the French adapted cartoon series, Best Sport.

She is an on-going presenter and travel writer for the American government-contracted program, Discover America, which was implemented to encourage tourism to the United States and to date has filmed nearly 40 international tourism videos across the country.
