Aldo Iuliano – Director

Italian director Aldo Iuliano began his career as a cartoonist. Since graduating University this talented director has already been recognized for his work. His award winning short films include Fulgenzio, Natalino, Tattoo, La lezione and Hakuna Matata. Aldo has also worked in Television, is a directing professor at the Film Academy Romeur and runs annual workshops in visual storytelling at the University of Teramo. Aldo is currently working on his first feature film.

Andrette Lo Conte – Producer

Andrette studied in Italy and went on to obtain her masters degree in TV and Cinema at the Royal Holloway University of London. In 2013 she launched Freak Factory production company and is now in development for her first feature In Utero, a psychological horror.

SYNOPSIS

The story of a group of guys playing football in the middle of nowhere. There is a much more than a simple victory at stake.

19 of the 23-strong crew of MUM were female, subverting the current industry norm. Of these 5 had one-year-old children, so a creche was created on set to enable their return to work.

Kate Larking – Producer

Kate Larking is a Manchester-based Producer/ Line Producer/ Production Manager in short films, feature films and television. Credits include the Bafta-nominated Rocket’s Island (CBBC/Lime), The City & The City (Mammoth Screen), Utopia 2 for Kudos/ Channel 4, the BAFTA-winning This is England 88, Ben Wheatley’s highly acclaimed feature Kill List and the BAFTA-winning documentary Make Bradford British.

She also teaches producing at the Northern Film School, Leeds Beckett University and has recently managed the ‘Lining Up’ programme for Creative England, designing and running training schemes for UK Line Producers at Elstree Studios and BAFTA, Los Angeles.

Prior to freelancing, Kate was Production Supervisor then Head of Distribution and Marketing at Warp Films, managing the releases of Shane Meadows’ Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee, Jonathan Caouette’s All Tomorrow’s Parties and Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers.

Kate is currently line-producing the documentary feature film Irene’s Ghost, now in post-production (financed by BFI, Creative England, Wellcome Trust and Mawdesley Charity).

Colm Whelan – Director of Photography

Colm is an award winning Director of Photography whose credits include work for National Geographic, Discovery and BBC amongst others. He has recently returned from several years working in Asia to collaborate on Traders, a feature film starring John Bradley, Wrecking the Rising, a drama series for Irish TV with Owen McDonnell and short films Mum and Rabbit Punch. He has just wrapped on Assassins for TV3 and is currently in prep to shoot a drama series for National Geographic in Singapore in August.

Chris Wyatt – Editor

Chris Wyatt has edited numerous feature films, TV and shorts including God’s Own Country (Michael Powell Award winner, EIFF 2017), White Boy Rick, ‘ 71, This is England, Dead Man’s Shoes, Dancing on the Edge and Close to the Enemy.
