DANIEL EATON(Sound Designer) (°1977, Minnesota, United States) is a composer and performer whose work finds its home for both fixed media and stage performance. His work for film often meets at the threshold of music and sound design, creating an all encompassing sonic space that ultimately serves and strengthens the visual image. Stylistically, his work can draw inspiration from multiple genres, ranging from traditional classical and jazz arrangements to other more experimental contexts.He has performed with Zola Jesus, Wadada Leo Smith, Cloud Eye Control, Bobby Mcferin, Orkestar Meze’, Vinny Golia, Open Gate Theater, SZALT (Dance), and many more. He currently performs solo work under the name Daniel Castledine, performs in the trio GRAMPUS, and collaborates with many other musicians and composers worldwide. Daniel also currently performs in Zola Jesus continuing on from the 2014-2016 world tours.

As a teacher, he has six plus years teaching music and technology based classes at the college level. His specialties are in post production, audio technology, composition/theory, Max/MSP, synthesis, live sound reinforcement, and audio production. SEULHWA EUM (design) is the co-founder of Studio Zazac, the Los Angeles based award-winning animation studio behind the films such as “38-39˚C” and “Deer Flower.” Her work, exhibited internationally, explores narrative in spaces and objects. She holds MFA in Print Making from the San Francisco Art Institute.


KI JIN KIM (producer) is a Korean filmmaker based in Los Angeles and one of the founding members of the independent production company Nonetheless Productions. Since its foundation in 2012, Kim has produced Columbus, starring John Cho, Parker Posey and Michelle Forbes (currently in post-production), the Sundance-winning feature Spa Night (Strand Releasing), and the award-winning short “Myrna the Monster” (Sundance/SXSW).

With Nonetheless, Kim has produced content for clients and collaborators such as Intel, GoPro and Focus Features, and is currently developing projects for a variety of platforms. His work as cinematographer and writer/director has screened internationally at venues such as Sundance, Rotterdam, Amiens, Tampere, SXSW, Slamdance, REDCAT and Gwangju Biennale among others. Kim is also a Sundance Creative Producing Summit fellow and a recipient of the Panavision New Filmmaker grant and the EFILM|Film Independent grant.


GIULIA CARUSO (producer) is an LA-based Italian producer and founding member of Nonetheless Productions.With Nonetheless, she recently produced COLUMBUS, starring John Cho, Parker Posey and Michelle Forbes (currently in post-production), and Andrew Ahn’s Sundance-winning debut feature SPA NIGHT (Strand Releasing/ Sundance TV).Giulia produced content for clients such as Focus Features, MTV, GoPro and Intel, including the Sundance short film “Myrna the Monster”, directed by Ian Samuels, and the docu-series We’ve Been Around, directed by Rhys Ernst.

Giulia is an alum of Sundance’s Creative Producing Summit, Film Independent’s Project Involve and the Berlinale Talent Campus. She holds an MFA in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts.
