PAUL TONKIN – Steven

Paul studied at University of Wales, Newport. Since graduating with a 1st class Honours degree in 2009, his Theatre credits include: The title role in Hamlet; Honey in Recidivists; Of Mice & Men; Twelfth Night; East of the Sun, West of the Moon; My Previous Self ; Murder in Play; Wolf – The Musical, and most recently Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights. His film credits include; Gingerbread man in AmStarDam as well as lead and supporting roles in short films Intruder and Broken for which he received a best supporting actor award. Paul is also an accomplished singer/songwriter and has scored and composed songs for many theatre productions including Twelfth Night and East of the Sun, West of the Moon.

ALICIA ANCEL – Chloe

Alicia is a British actress, born and raised in Bristol, England. Alicia has been busy on a number of productions over the last three years, which include the feature films Dark Vision by Stray Spark Productions and One by Reel People Films. In 2013 she worked with Aardman Animations on Change4Life, where she was the face of the national TV campaign. She has also done corporate work for Dyson, The National Trust, Honda and Bristol Airport. Her television experience has included characters for Skins, Casualty, Trollied and Sherlock Holmes.

SIMON PEARCE – DAN

Having started out studying acting both at college and also as part of the ITV Drama Workshop, based near Bristol in his early teens, Simon went on to work pre-dominantly behind the scenes as an editor and camera operator. He has worked on a number of previous shorts with Paul Dudbridge, and originally came on-board “Horizon” as a writer/director. Simon has recently been making a small return to acting and early on in the development process Paul asked if he’d actually be interested in playing one of the roles in the show. Simon has previously appeared in BBC’s “Casualty” and the two part TV drama “Unknown Hearts” for Gate TV. KATE DAVIES – NICOLE

Kate Marie Davies is a British actress, born and raised in Bristol, England. After training in drama and in musical theatre for five years, Kate achieved lead roles in touring theatre, on-line web series, numerous short films and several feature films including Italian feature film ‘Beautiful People’ and sci-fi movie ‘Kaleidoscope Man’.

KESSIE BARTLETT – KATIE

She began acting as a child and went on to take classes at the ITV Television Workshop based in Bristol, where she met “Horizon” director Paul Dudbridge. During her time at ITV, she performed in the radio feature “Freshers” broadcast on BBC Radio Bristol, and she filmed a guest role on the Channel 4’s BAFTA award winning drama “Skins”. In 2010 she worked on Paul Dudbridge’s film “Maria”, in the role of ‘Sarah’, and the film was an official selection for the Encounters Film Festival in 2011. This role lead to Kessie working on multiple short films and music promos whilst working for her degree in drama and creative writing. Whilst studying Kessie continued performing within university theatre productions and she graduated in the summer of 2014 with a BA HONS.

JASON ALLEN – SANDERS

Jason Allen is a relative newcomer to the world of film, having made his acting debut in July 2010, playing Eastern European villain ‘Radjovek’ in thriller ‘Heavy Duty’. Having cut his rookie acting teeth, Jason went on to appear in several music videos and short films, including: ‘Broken’ and ‘Intruder’, both directed by Simon Pearce, and Nancy’s ‘Over Again’ promo video, directed by Paul Dudbridge. Having spent 18 months concentrating on music-related activities, Jason was tempted out of ‘retirement’ in December 2013 by Paul Dudbridge to make an appearance in Frank Bastow’s ‘Don’t Be A Cant’ music video: “We had a fantastic two days filming with Frank. It whet my appetite for film once again. They even managed to get me dancing, which doesn’t happen too often!”
