STEVEN ELDER

Steven Elder is a highly experienced, screen and theatre actor represented by Europe’s leading acting agency, Independent Talent Group; and in Los Angeles by leading manager Jeffrey Goldberg Management.

He has played a lading roles in several feature film, including GALLOWWALKERS alongside Wesley Snipes, GOOD alongside Viggo Mortenson, BLACKBEARD alongside Jessica Chastain and Richard
Chamberlain.

He has performed leading roles in television, both in the US and UK: for the BBC, ITV, Sky Atlantic; Canal Plus, Disney, and for CBS. These include APPLE TREE YARD, VERA, SILENT WITNESS, VERSAILLES, IN THE CLUB, THE TUNNEL, THE HOUR, BEDLAM, UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS, DCI BANKS, LOST – season six, NCIS, THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS, THE 39 STEPS, NEW TRICKS, 10 DAYS TO WAR, MONARCH OF THE GLEN, THE VICE, AFTERLIFE, JUDGE JOHN DEED, ROBIN HOOD, LIE WITH ME, INSPECTOR LYNLEY MYSTERIES, CROMWELL, REDCAP, IN DEEP, WAKING THE DEAD, PEAK PRACTICE, HEARTBEAT, THE BILL, HOLBY CITY, CASUALTY, DOCTORS, EASTENDERS, CORONATION STREET, SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN, RESNICK. His theatre work includes performing with THE ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, Shakespeare’s GLOBE THEATRE in London, and in London’s WEST END. He has also appeared at the SPOLETO FESTIVAL in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

Steven was born in Yorkshire, England, and educated at Valley Comprehensive School in Worksop, Nottinghamshire; and at Queen Mary, University of London, where he was awarded a BA Hons degree in
English Literature. He then attended drama school at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (London).

He divides his time between the UK and Los Angeles.
